About Lloyd National Conference on Fundamentals to Access to Justice

Lloyd law college is going to organize their Lloyd National Conference on Fundamentals of Access to Justice”. Conference is giving you very important chance so that you present your thoughts and make the country realize that there is need research to get a way for access to justice. The competition will be graced by eminent speakers’ i.e. Legal luminaries, academicians, researchers, students, members of Governmental and Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs) etc. engaged on the issues relating to the following subthemes:

1.     Ideology and Organs of Access to Justice.

2.     Judicial democracy and Access to Justice.

3.     Rules and Legal Education.

4.     Open and Free Society.

5.     Justice Delivery System.

6.     Human Rights and Access to Justice.

7.     Legal process, Social order and Access to Justice.

Rules of Event

All entries must meet the following criteria:

i.   Author Status: Shall be an undergraduate, graduate student or a recently graduated (On or after February 1, 2020).

ii.  Co-authorship: Co- authorship of one person is allowed.

iii. Single Submission: No participants shall be allowed to submit more than one paper; only one paper will be
     accepted by an author, either as a sole author or as a co-author.

iv. Originality: Each paper must be an original analysis and must be the author's own work. Papers previously                       published are not eligible.

       v. Title Page and Abstract:

  1. The title page must include the author's name, faculty adviser's name, institutional affiliation, expected degree (or recently received degree) and graduation Date (month/year) and email address.

  2. An abstract of not more than 300 words must follow the title page. Title and abstract pages are separate and would not be counted within the stipulated number given in sub-head A.

  3. Page headers and/or footers should contain page numbers and a shortened title of the paper. Participants shall ensure that the header or footer must not include the author’s name or the name of his or her institution, to shield incognito review by the judges.

viii. Paper Preparation Requirements:

    Main Body:

1.     The paper must be written in English.

2.     Font should be Times New Roman - size 12.

3.     Margins of 1 inch (2.5 cm) all around.

4.     Double space.

5.     Papers shall only be submitted in MS Word (DOC or DOCX) and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.


1.    Font Type – Times New Roman.

2.    Font Size - 10 pts.

3.    Line Spacing - 1.0.

4.    Footnoting shall follow 19th edition blue book.

5.    No end notes or speaking footnotes are allowed.

6.    Only 20 % Plagiarism is permitted.


    1.     1st Best presenter shall be awarded by cash prize of Rs. 5000/-

    2.     2nd Best presenter shall be awarded by cash prize of Rs. 5000/-

    3.     3rd, 4th and 5th Best presenter shall be awarded by Trophy and certificates.

    4.     Top 15 papers will be published on journal (Thomson Reuters publication).

    5.     Top 15 participants shall be awarded by certificate of publication and Appreciation certificates.

    6.     All participants shall be awarded by certificates.

1.     Academicians/ lawyers/scholars: Rs. 1,200/- for single authorship and if Co- Author, then Rs. 1,000/- each.

2.     Students: Rs. 700/- for single authorship and if Co- Authorship, then Rs. 600/- each.

3.     For Accommodation purpose, participants have to pay Rs. 700/- extra. {if avails}

6.     The amount is to be paid by the participants whose abstracts are selected. The result of abstract
    selection round will be released on 21/01/2020. The selected participants must register by 28/01/2020.
    Only  the participants who will complete the final registration will be allowed to present their papers and
    only those papers will be considered for publication.
